Highly recommended. Extremely polite and skillful professionals. Keith came out and did estimates, and then scheduled follow ups with Joshua to patch some drywall and paint. Wonderful workmanship. Cleaned up when finished. The paint was a perfect match. We are extremely happy and will be calling for more work in the house! Thank you Doctor Fix-It.
I'm so happy to have found Doctor Fix-It. Keith and his team have done many projects at my home. They do excellent work and are very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them.
I hired Doctor Fix-it to repair a laundry list of broken, or otherwise outdated things (to prepare my home for sale), and to paint. From painting-to drywall- to fixing doors, railings, woodwork etc., they did it all. If a specific repair was not in their wheelhouse, Keith didn't hesitate to refer us to another qualified professional. Keith and his team were fast, clean and thorough. We could tell they actually enjoyed performing their craft! Keith called and texted me frequently to update us about: our project, to confirm arrival times, and to ask me for my preferences. The prices were fair for the high quality work! We are currently hiring Doctor Fix-it (again) to update our new home!
Tim and Sean from Doctor Fixit re-sided and re-roofed my backyard shed. They worked diligently each day until it was completed. I am very pleased with their work. The shed looks great!
Keith is doing work for my elderly mother & she RAVES about him. Very professional, very kind & caring, excellent work & pricing. Definitely recommend & will be probably using myself at some point!
Keith's men did an excellent job resetting the gates of my vinyl fence that were way off due to strong storms over the years. Very pleased and will definitely use them in the future!
Prompt and professional service to replace and complete a drop ceiling in our basement. Keith added us to his schedule quickly, and worked out some tricky angles due to a low hanging pipe. Keith talked us through the project and does high quality work.
Over the last month we have had Keith and his crew redo our deck install a new glass sliding door, remodel a bathroom and repair drywall in a bedroom. They were fast, efficient, great communication and most importantly did the job right the first time.
John & Keith were most professional and handled every job just perfectly. We will definitely use them again. Jobs included drywall repair, removing wall mounted medicine cabinet, removing large bathroom mirror, hanging new blinds, painting master bath, reinforcing shelves in garage. Thank you for everything.
We repair damaged walls differently depending on how extensive the damage is. When we repair a small hole, we can quickly patch it up with drywall tape or a drywall patch before finishing the repair. When it comes to large holes in drywall, which is anything over 6 inches, tape or a patch won’t be enough. On larger holes, we’ll use a more robust material, like wood, to span the opening. But no matter if it’s a small or large hole, we always finish the patch carefully so that it will be as strong as the rest of the wall and invisible. We also repair little dents and dings. No job is too small for us!
Your drywall can crack for a variety of reasons. If your house has been built in the last few months, or even years, seeing cracks on your drywall is common. Houses will usually settle during the first few years after construction, so minor wall cracks are likely to occur. But, if you see gaping cracks, separation, and horizontal crack lines, it might be a sign that there is a more significant issue hiding behind the scenes. You should call in an expert if you’re suspicious of foundation issues.
Drywall repair varies depending on the size, location, and severity of the damage. While drywall repair is a relatively straightforward repair job, it is time-consuming and requires a lot of tools and materials, which is sometimes the reason for a higher price.
If your wall has multiple holes in it, it might be better to replace the entire sheet of drywall. This can increase the cost of drywall repair.
